Because it's false, it's fake, it's controlling, it's misguiding. It's like taking a life long prescription of some drug that gives you this happy, blisfull feeling. In the end you can't even face reality anymore because it is just too bloody painful, too much.

Anyway, you must be quite happy by now, with that f*ing idiot in the white house now. You really want to serve a god that puts these kind of idiots in power? You really think he will make America great again? You really think there is a *god* that gives a damn about your beloved America?

Ah, Americans—the world’s finest purveyors of big dreams, bacon, and box-office blockbusters. If there’s one thing they adore, it’s the idea of heroism on an intergalactic scale, preferably while eating a burger the size of a small satellite dish. For many, life seems like a Hollywood script in progress, just waiting for the moment when an alien invasion or a government conspiracy finally gives them the chance to join the resistance and save the day.

And when they’re not imagining themselves battling space invaders, they’re glued to screens depicting sleek, well-muscled heroes who conveniently ignore the fact that the average American hasn’t seen a vegetable in days and whose primary form of exercise involves lifting a remote. With their fascination for epic sci-fi sagas, supernatural conspiracies, and galaxy-spanning adventures, you’d almost think they’re trying to avoid the mirror entirely. Perhaps it’s easier to daydream about the interstellar than to confront a reality where “heroes” mostly battle clogged arteries and waistlines that require their own zip codes.

In short, Americans live in a land of dreams—a place where tomorrow’s blockbuster is always more vivid, more heroic, and infinitely more exciting than today’s realities, like grappling with traffic jams, mortgage payments, or that mountain of bacon on their breakfast plate. It's a form of patriotism, really: fiercely clinging to the belief that somewhere, somehow, they’re all part of the next great American saga… just as soon as they finish this season of Stranger Things.

Next time you sit in your church pew, listening to all the sweet 'We're right and they are wrong!' and "You're saved by the blood of an innocent man nailed to a cross" nonsense that is poured out over you, think of all the dirty secrets you have, all the dirty secrets of the people around you, all the hypocrisy you know is going on in your leadership, all the wealth and possession you have and then think about the actual message of Jesus: "If you don't give up everything, possession, family, house and land, You can't follow me!" And that's not metaphorically, that was his actual message, it's the reason people left him in droves.

Hi, I'm a loser like you and a specimen of the hidious race that is pestering this earth and making it inhabitable for all known lifeforms.
